Açaí became prominent in Rio de Janeiro in the 90s, when the local athletes consumed it to help with strength and stamina. Today, It’s seen in supermarkets, juice bars, and nutrition centers worldwide. It is said to have the following properties:

• Highest concentration of Antioxidants of any fruit

Dwarf Açaí Superberry

We sell a special variety called the Dwarf Açaí. These seeds were selectively bread by growing experts to maximize productivity of the Açaí fruit.

Para Dwarf, common name: Dwarf Açaí Palm is the more rare dwarf form of the famed Açaí Palm. Gorgeous, fast growing, producing fruits (delicious berries) earlier than the standard form, at approximately 3-4 years of age, and at a much smaller size, around 3 feet of trunk height.

From the Brazilian rainforest, famous for some of the most delicious and nutritious berries known, fruits (Açaí Berries) of these are typically made into a tasty juice, smoothie, or put on breakfast cereal, with highly beneficial antioxidants.

Dwarf Açaí Characteristics:

• 20% more pulp per berry
• Achieves height of 20 feet rather than 30
• Better uniform quality of fruit with an excellent flavor.
• Begins to fruit at a shorter height.

Where does Açái grow?

Tropical climates around the world. We have been selling around world for many years.  We are always shipping to Australia, Florida, Malaysia, India and the list goes on.  We now offer Juçara seeds for warm climates outside of the tropics, including southern parts of the Mediterranean, California, Japan, and Korea.

Can you ship to my country?

We ship to most countries around the world. Feel free to ask us about your location. There are some exceptions like New Zealand with a ban on seeds. In Australia we can only ship to and have shipped many thousands to NSW, QLD, NT.  For a few other countries we send, but there is a limit to the quantity that we are permitted to send at one time.  To be certain, don’t hesitate to ask.

What is the success rate?

For our açai seeds, germination is about 95%. Many seeds arrive pre-germinating. In fact, we easily sell pre-germinated seeds on ebay.  Our storage is always in tropical, germinating conditions.
